Scarlet
Oak School won a $500 grant from Active Transportation Alliance
for Walk To
School Day 2009. The Event was held October 7th and was
a big success. The Scarlet Cardinals are very interested in
holding Walk
To School Days throughout the school year. This festive fall walk
promoted healthy lifestyles, eco-friendly living, and neighborhood
love!
The Active Transportation Alliance and Safe Routes To School provided
fruit snacks and protein bars to all 288 Scarlet Cardinals. The
following
members of our community participated and/or supported this event.
