The students need the following prerequisites to complete the activities in the unit on "Staying Healthy":

The students need to read at a minimum of a third grade level.

The students need to have mastered the graphing of data.

The students need to have mastered the ability to identify a fraction or decimal.

The students need to write in cursive.

The students need to write in complete sentences.

The students need to write a paragraph.

The students need to write a report containing two paragraphs.

The student needs to communicate thoughts through verbal or written words, drawings, or gestures.
