Welcome to Kimberly Heights School!

Greetings, and welcome to the Kimberly Heights School website. My name is Eliza Lopez and this is my twelfth year in District 145. I am honored to serve as principal of such an exciting learning community.

This may very likely be the first time you are sending your child off to school or possibly the first experience you have had as a parent of a school aged child. Please be assured that everything at Kimberly Heights School is geared towards young learners. From experienced staff to high quality materials and from our Pre-K to our extended day Kindergarten, District 145 has made early learning a priority! We are compassionate about our profession and love our students as if they were our own children.

We will be working together as partners to provide the best possible education for your child in a nurturing environment that is student centered and positive. Our goal is to build a strong foundation necessary for success. We believe children should learn academic and social skills to give them traits necessary to become independent, responsible, life-long learners. We also focus on instilling the importance of treating each other with respect and always trying to do our very best. We treasure the early years in development and help support our families in building a connection between home and school.

Our website aims to give you an idea of what Kimberly Heights is all about along with a range of useful information. A great deal of success of Kimberly Heights students is due to the partnership created between the home and school, so I encourage you to visit the website often, stay in contact with your teacher, and call to volunteer!

Looking forward to a wonderful school year!

Sincerely,
Eliza Lopez
