Arbor Park School District 145 uses multiple communication channels to notify families of school closings or late starts, which may occur due to a variety of reasons such as severe weather (including snow), storms, power outages, fire, or gas leaks. In the event of a closure or delayed start, all legal guardians will be contacted through the district’s emergency notification system. This system will call both primary and mobile phone numbers and send an email to the address on file in AlmaSIS.
